our aims

our mission

Whitstable Unplugged is empowering families, schools, and local organisations with the tools and support they need to help children to thrive in an age of constant digital connectivity.

We were founded by a group of concerned parents who wanted to address the negative impact smartphones and social media were having on children’s lives. What began as a local conversation in Whitstable has become a community movement that continues to grow.
